IJHS Cultural heritage and (jazz) festivals special issue introduction

Delighted to have co-written, with Prof Tony Whyton from BCU, the introduction to a special issue of the International Journal of Heritage Studies, which brings together some of the key scholarship from the EU-funded CHIME project on and with European jazz festivals. UCU strike action at UEA, November-December 2019

I am saddened, angry and proud to be involved with many colleagues who are also members of the Universities and Colleges Union up and down the UK in industrial action in defence of university pensions this week. Second time out on strike on this issue in 18 months; we are not giving up or in. WE EARNED IT. WE DESERVE IT. WE DEMAND IT. (‘It’ being a fair pension for our contributions.)
